My introduction to hardwood floors began at 8 or 9 years old. My family would travel around Oregon in the summer refinishing gym floors. In 1979 after moving back home to Oregon from Alaska, I started working with my dad at a Union flooring company. After about 2 years my dad started Ross Hardwood Floors. My brothers and I joined him a couple of years later. In 1990 my father retired, and we took over the business. My brothers left a couple of years later, and I took over as sole owner. I ran the business until 2007 when we decided to move to Coeur d Alene to be near family that had moved here earlier. I worked for my brothers flooring company, but then started AvidPro North Idaho in 2014. My focus in business has always been providing exceptional quality and customer service. With around 150 years’ combined experience between my dad, brothers and I; we have installed millions of square feet of flooring over the last 40 years or so. We can provide you with the finest quality work in hardwood, tile, and other hard surface products. We are here to serve the entire Pacific Northwest.
